Telehealth can be a safe and effective means for treating many common conditions in pets. Due to the negative reaction and stress some pets feel with trips to a traditional vet office, telehealth can be a helpful alternative. However, due to the limitations of virtual care, telehealth cannot replace the need for a local veterinarian for annual checkups, vaccinations, some types of testing, and issues that require a physical exam or procedure.
If one of our vets determines that an in-person visit will be in the best interest of your pet, they’ll refer you to a local veterinarian. The health and safety of pets is our top priority.
